Iris hoogiana (Aril Iris) Rhizomes

Iris hoogiana bulbs create a striking display, with sturdy stems and an upright growth of strap-like leaves. The flowers are large and beautiful, showcasing a stunning violet blue colour and a bright yellow splotch in the centre for added contrast. Its classic iris shape features arching petals, adding to its overall beauty.

Iris hoogiana flourishes in a well-drained soil and thrives in direct sunlight. While it may be a slightly more challenging bulb to cultivate, the payoff for this stunning plant is well worth the effort. For optimal growth, it is recommended to plant it in a sheltered location to shield its stems from strong winds.
