Inspired by their travels across South America, brothers John and Simon Goodwin founded La Hacienda in 1989 from the bedroom of their family home. The vision for the business was to create an outdoor fire that could be the focal point of any garden party and create lifelong memories. With that in mind, they began to import traditional Mexican chimeneas to the UK for everyone to enjoy.
In the early 2000s, as the success of the business grew, the La Hacienda range expanded into fire pits, outdoor ovens, and garden decor. The brothers exited the comfort of their bedroom and moved into an ex-aircraft hangar in the Cotswolds where La Hacienda still operates today.
