Pond Invertebrates

Pond Invertebrates

2 products

Pond invertebrates are the backbone of a healthy garden pond ecosystem. From snails that process algae and decaying plant matter to the larvae of dragonflies, damselflies, and caddisflies that colonise naturally, invertebrates drive nutrient cycling, maintain water clarity, and provide a vital food source for amphibians, birds, and other wildlife. This collection currently includes ramshorn snails and trapdoor snails: both native UK species that can be introduced directly to garden ponds and freshwater aquariums.
