The Allium 'Summer Drummer' is a spectacular allium with umbels of small, complex flowers of light purple and cream. This beautiful allium is very large and can reach a maximum height of 150cm when fully grown. The Summer Drummer does best when planted later in the year from September to December, the plant will then bloom in early summer from around June.

The Allium 'Summer Drummer' does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. Taller alliums like this one can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
