Allium (formally Nectaroscordum) siculum, ssp. bulgaricum, is a beautiful flower which is excellent for naturalising. Also known as Sicilian honey garlic, this variety features bell-shaped, nodding greenish-white flowers with a maroon central stripe along each segment. Each stem can bloom up to 30 flowers.
When Allium siculum flowers in June, it can stand an impressive 120cm tall. We recommend planting Allium siculum bulbs between September and October into moist but well-drained soil in a spot with full or dappled sunlight.
