The Allium 'Metallic Shine' is a fittingly named allium with stunning purple flowers that gain a metallic shine when viewed in direct sunlight. The Metallic Shine should be planted later in the year from September to December for beautiful blooms in early summer. This allium is average in height, getting to a nice 60cm when fully grown.

The Allium 'Metallic Shine' does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. This allium can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
