Description
The Allium carinatum ssp. pulchellum is a beautiful plant and a recipient of the Award for Garden Merit. This allium is best planted in the coldest part of the year between November and March for beautiful purple blooms in July. When fully grown the Allium carinatum reaches a height of 50cm.
The Allium carinatum ssp. pulchellum does best when planted 10cm deep into well-drained and nutrient-rich soil,, the plant can also benefit from shelter on one side to help protect it from the wind.
