When you receive Dahlia 'Little Robert', place it in a warm and sheltered container for optimal results. After the final frost has passed, relocate the plant outside and plant it in well-drained soil. Make sure it gets plenty of sunlight and is shielded from strong winds since it has tall stems. During winter, safeguard the bulbs by digging them up and storing them in a frost-free location.
