Lycoris radiata bulbs, commonly known as the red spider lily, produces a striking plant. Its tall stems are free of leaves, giving it a sleek and refined look. After blooming, the plant may also develop long, strap-like leaves. With its gorgeous bunch of deep red flowers and long, showy anthers, it creates a spider-like appearance, earning its unique name.

Lycoris aurea prefers moist, well-drained soil and thrives in full sunlight. It is well-suited for container gardening and may need protection or indoor placement during winter when temperatures drop.
