This Clematis armandii variety is highly sought after for its lengthy, shiny green leaves with a hint of bronze when first sprouted. Abundant clusters of fragrant, white, star-shaped flowers make for an impressive display, attracting bees and other pollinators. Due to its vigorous growth, regular pruning is recommended to maintain desired size.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well drained soil.
