This clematis cultivar, RE Clematis 'Guernsey Flute' (Evigsy153), features impressive, iridescent ivory flowers that can reach up to 12cm in diameter. These elegant blooms can be enjoyed from mid-May to June and again in early September. The delicate lilac hue of the petals is complemented by a striking tuft of red-tipped lime-green stamens. This variety is ideal for creating contrast against a dark backdrop and can even thrive in a container.

Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
