This Clematis, named 'Amethyst Beauty' (Evipo043), features large purple flowers that bloom abundantly from June to September. It is unique in the sense that it starts flowering at a mere 18" (45cm) from the soil level, and continues to flower until it reaches its final height of 2m. It is an excellent choice for container gardening and can also be trained to grow up roses, shrubs, archways or pergolas.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well drained soil.

Height: The plant is usually between 75-90cm tall when it arrives but can reach 1.5-2m. Prune code 3. 3L deep rose pots with 90cm cane.
