A highly beneficial evergreen clematis known for its elongated, shiny green leaves, which initially have a bronzy hue. The plant boasts a spectacular exhibition of delicate pink star-shaped blooms that appear in abundance during late March and April, exuding a potent fragrance that draws pollinators like bees. It may have a strong growth rate, so careful pruning is necessary to maintain the desired size within the designated space.

To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well drained soil.
