The Arisaema ringens, also known as The Japanese Cobra Lily for its snake-like hood, is a unique flower with large green flowers with a black spathe, it produces large leaves throughout the summer. This unusual plant does best in shady areas with plenty of drainage and a healthy amount of leaf mould to encourage growth. Once they are established in your garden they require very little attention aside from needing a bit of protection for very severe frosts.
