The Allium 'Violet Beauty' lives up to its name with stunning umbels of violet star-shaped flowers. The Violet Beauty blooms in late spring to early summer and gets to an impressive 80cm when fully grown. As this allium is an Autumn bulb it does best when planted late in the year from September to December.

The Allium 'Violet Beauty' does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. Taller alliums like this one can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
