The Allium 'Summer Beauty', is a stunning plant with umbels of beautiful lavender flowers. The Summer Beauty is a Spring bulb and as such does best when planted earlier in the year from September to December. The allium will then produce its simple, but stunning blooms throughout summer.

The Allium 'Summer Beauty' does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. Taller alliums like this one can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
