The Allium pskemense is an unusual allium with umbels of off-white flowers protruding from the top of a tall flower spike. The pskemense is an autumn bulb and as such prefers being planted later in the year from September to December. This allium blooms in early summer around june time and gets to a maximum height of 90cm.
The Allium pskemense does best when planted about 10cm deep in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny area of the garden. Taller alliums like this one can also benefit from shelter on one side to help prevent the tall flower spikes from being blown over.
Planting Time: September - December
