• COSY HAY LOFT – A chalet-style insect shelter and refuge from predators.
• BUG ZONE – Specially prepared bamboo nesting tubes for solitary bees and other over-wintering insects, including Ladybirds and Lacewings.
• OVER WINTERING ZONE – The second storey has open side access and an overwintering chamber ready to fill with bark, straw or leaves.
• INTERACTIVE BEE TRAYS – Slotted wooden interactive nesting trays for Mason bees, Leafcutter Bees and other insects.

Site facing south to the southeast in a sheltered area 1.0 – 2.0 metres high.

Maintenance

Made from FSC certified timber. To maintain the green finish, you may apply water-based green paint annually.

You may purchase replacement wooden tubes and paper beelining tubes for advanced bee management.
