The best selling Hanging Bempton is simply one of the most attractive and practical bird tables around. As with all our products, it is handmade from FSC certified timber from sustainably managed forests. It features decorative woodwork in a painted green finish, with a real Verdigris copper roof and a natural rope for hanging.

Unlike most bird tables which are tricky to clean and become messy, our Hanging Bempton has a clever detachable side panel and recycled plastic tray, which lifts out for easy cleaning. This also gives access to the inside edges of the bird table to be brushed out, removing any old food that may harbour bacteria. This allows for excellent standards of bird hygiene to be achieved.

The balustrade of latticework and arches around the Bempton provide a restricted height, safe area for smaller birds to feed. This space limitation prevents access by larger species such as crows, pigeons, magpies, seagulls from the food. It also makes life difficult for predatory sparrow hawks whose habit is to target small birds on open feeder tables.

Pond Plants

Currently dispatching on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

1. In the main season, orders placed by 11am on a working day are sent the next working day, excluding Friday (or the Thursday before Easter).
2. During low season we will amend the days orders are shipped. The dispatch days are normally:
• March - Twice weekly Tuesday and Thursday
• April to Mid-August - 4 days per week Monday to Thursday
• Mid-August and September - Twice weekly Tuesday and Thursday
• October to February - Once per week on Tuesday
3. Due to the volume of orders being handled, we are unlikely to be able to amend or cancel an order if it has already been picked and packaged. Once in this status, the order will be shipped and invoiced accordingly.
4. Our couriers will leave orders in a cool shaded area if there is no one at the address provided, or with a neighbour if possible.

Other Products

We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days (Monday to Friday).

Some specialist products such as our larger insect houses, furniture and niche bird boxes are made to order and may have a lead time of 2-6 weeks.
