The attractive Bagpath Hanging Bird Feeder is part of our Vintage Garden collection, designed to bring timeless sculptural products to your garden or outdoor space. An all-metal product range finished with a bronzed and antique appearance. The Bagpath feeder hangs from three chains and has a solid perch around the entire feeding dish to provide ample room as a landing spot for several birds. Ideally, the feeding bowl will hold 2-3 days of food to ensure the supply is always fresh. This feeder is suitable for all bird food types, including seed, kibbled nuts, suet, and mealworms. The drainage holes will make sure the food doesn’t sit in water and go off when it rains.

Siting the Bagpath Hanging Bird Feeder

The feeder is suitable for hanging from a basket bracket, feed station, tree, gazebo, or any structurally sound hanger, ensuring the feeder is not too close to a wall or fence. It’s always best to site the feeder somewhere accessible to see as you can monitor the feed levels and enjoy watching the birds!

Maintenance

Periodically removing old and mouldy food and sanitising with a good wash ensures good bird hygiene is maintained. The all-metal design makes it easy to clean.

Pond Plants

Currently dispatching on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

1. In the main season, orders placed by 11am on a working day are sent the next working day, excluding Friday (or the Thursday before Easter).
2. During low season we will amend the days orders are shipped. The dispatch days are normally:
• March - Twice weekly Tuesday and Thursday
• April to Mid-August - 4 days per week Monday to Thursday
• Mid-August and September - Twice weekly Tuesday and Thursday
• October to February - Once per week on Tuesday
3. Due to the volume of orders being handled, we are unlikely to be able to amend or cancel an order if it has already been picked and packaged. Once in this status, the order will be shipped and invoiced accordingly.
4. Our couriers will leave orders in a cool shaded area if there is no one at the address provided, or with a neighbour if possible.

Other Products

We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days (Monday to Friday).

Some specialist products such as our larger insect houses, furniture and niche bird boxes are made to order and may have a lead time of 2-6 weeks.
