The Tulip 'Salmon Van Eijk' bulbs produce salmon-pink blossoms with deeper pink shading. The petals of these flowers are large and shaped like a goblet. They are held on very strong stems which make them perfect for bedding or cut flowers.
The Salmon Van Eijk flower is a Division 4 tulip, which is the cross-breeding between Darwin and Fosteriana groups, resulting in these hybrids. They are single, large, oval shaped flowers that bloom in the mid to late season and are reliably perennial.
The Salmon Van Eijk Tulip flowers in April/May and will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer fertile, well drained soil in a sunny location.
