Tulip 'Mabel' belongs to both the Rembrandt and historical tulip groups. Rembrandt varieties are identifiable by their flame-like streaks on the petals, while historical tulips have a long history of cultivation. To thrive, Tulip 'Mabel' requires moist, well-aerated soil and a sunny location.
