The tulip 'Daydream' is a Darwin hybrid, created by cross-breeding the Darwin and Fosteriana groups. These hybrids are single, large, oval-shaped flowers that bloom in mid to late season and are perennial. They typically flower in April/May and thrive in various growing conditions, although they prefer fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot.
