The Swallow and Swift Nest Box uses 18mm larch, a red wood known for its longevity and natural water-repelling properties. This thickness is crucial for the nest box's durability and provides exceptional insulation for nesting Swifts.

The nest box is specifically designed to prevent Starlings from entering, with an entrance hole measurement of 28x65mm.
