The Scilla peruviana is a remarkable plant, known for its sturdy stems that can support large spikey clusters of flowers. Each stem boasts around 20-100 tiny blue flowers, each with a beautiful star shape and slightly reflexed petals in a stunning violet blue color. These stems are further complemented by large, lance-shaped leaves.

Scilla peruviana thrives in a well-drained, moist soil with full sunlight, but can also tolerate shade. It is an ideal plant for both outdoor and potted planting, requiring minimal effort to grow and providing a beautiful violet colour and full shape that returns year after year.
