The Muscari azureum also known as the Azure Grape Hyacinth is a flower with light blue flowers that group tightly around the top of a short stem. The Azure Grape Hyacinth does best when planted later in the year from September to October. It will then produce it's beautiful bloom through early spring. When fully grown this plant can reach 15cm, making it perfect for planting the front of borders.
The Muscari azureum is easy to grow with little maintenance and does best when planted in moist, but well-drained soil in partial to full sun. These beautiful little plants are non-toxic so are safe for any garden, they are also beloved by bees for their nectar-rich flowers.
