The Muscari armeniacum 'Blue Spike' is a stunning grape hyacinth with beautiful deep purple, ball-shaped flowers that resemble a bunch of grapes around a central stem. The Blue Spike blooms through early spring and does best when planted late in the year from September to December. This plant stays quite small, only reaching 15cm when fully grown.
The Muscari armeniacum 'Blue Spike' is easy to grow with little maintenance and does best when planted in moist, but well-drained soil in partial to full sun. These beautiful little plants are non-toxic so are safe for any garden, they are also beloved by bees for their nectar-rich flowers.
