MightyBug Encarsia formosa is a parasitoid wasp that hunts and kills whiteflies. These beneficial insects will fly around to search for whiteflies, which are typically found hidden on the underside of leaves on a variety of garden flowering, fruit and vegetable plants.

Distributed within the plant canopy, Encarsia will emerge from the cards provided and parasitise larvae and pupae of whitefly species commonly found on plants grown in the UK in greenhouses and indoors. Encarsia are also able to kill Brassica whitefly (Aleyrodes proletella), which are often found on UK outdoor brassica vegetables, such as kale, Brussels sprouts and vegetables.

MightyBug Encarsia are provided with a white card and a hanger,  designed to allow the wasp card to be hung from leaves of plants in the area that need treating. The MightyBug Encarsia cards are simply hung within the plant and left with no maintenance needed. Simple and effective.

MightyBug Encarisa should be applied at a rate of 1 card per 10 square meters. 
One pack treats either 50, 100, 200 or 500 square meters depending on pack size.

• 5 cards treat 50 sqm
• 10 cards treat 100m sqm
• 25 cards treat 200m sqm
• 50 cards treat 500m sqm
  

This product is dispatched every Thursday (excluding public holidays). Order before Thursday for same-week dispatch. Orders received after Wednesday will be dispatched the following week.
