Ipheion uniflorum Wisley Blue is a repeat flowering, hardy bulb native to South America. At the start of spring, it produces abundant, star-shaped flowers that come in a striking violet blue and the petals have a darker stripe in the centre. Additionally, the blooms exude a delicate and fragrant scent.
Ipheion uniflorum Wisley Blue has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit (AGM) by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
We recommend planting Ipheion uniflorum Wisley Blue bulbs 3-5cm deep into well-drained soil in a sunny spot in the garden. This flower should be planted between September and December and the flowers will come up between April and May.
