The Haemanthus coccineus bulbs give rise to a stunning plant, featuring small, dense, green leaves and a solitary, robust stem that supports a gorgeous flower. The flower is adorned with deep red outer petals and a cluster of golden yellow stamens, resulting in a plush, brush-like appearance.

Haemanthus coccineus thrives in moist, well-draining soil and prefers full sun to partial shade. It is a resilient plant that can flourish in various soil types and easily forms clumps. However, it is not tolerant of freezing temperatures.
