Clematis tangutica 'Lambton Park' is a strong deciduous vine that produces large, drooping lantern-shaped flowers up to 7cm wide. The petals of these flowers are pointed and bright yellow. As the plant continues to bloom from early summer to mid-autumn, it also develops large, silky seed heads on older flowers.
Clematis plants can be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs, herbaceous perennials, or climbers that use twining leaf stalks. Many varieties also produce striking flowers, while some feature fluffy seedheads in autumn.
To ensure the happiness of this plant, it is best to plant it in a location where its roots will remain cool and moist, ideally with some shade provided by lower-growing species. This plant prefers full sun and a well-drained soil.
