Tillandsia (Air Plants)
Tillandsia plants, also called Air Plants, give you clean shapes and simple care. You do not need soil. You can place them on wood, glass, or stone. Give your Tillandsia bright, indirect light. Mist the plant two or three times a week. Soak it in water for twenty minutes every one or two weeks. Shake off extra water so the base stays dry. Good air flow keeps the plant healthy.
You can place Air Plants outside in the UK during warm summer months. Choose light shade. The small blooms can attract bees. Some species may also draw tiny insects that support local birds. Bring the plants inside when nights fall near 10°C.
Tillandsia suits you if you want a plant that stays neat. You get clear form and very low care. These plants work well on desks, shelves, and terrariums.
