The Tulip 'Rosy Delight' bulbs produce intense deep pink flowers with softer pink edges. Once the flowers reach maturity the colour starts to soften. The petals of these flowers are large and shaped like a goblet. They are held on very strong stems making them some of the most long lasting tulips.
The Rosy Delight flower is a Division 4 tulip, which is the cross-breeding between Darwin and Fosteriana groups, resulting in these hybrids. They are single, large, oval shaped flowers that bloom in the mid to late season and are reliably perennial.
The Rosy Delight Tulip flowers in April/May and will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer fertile, well drained soil in a sunny location.
