The Tulip 'Oscar' bulbs produce cardinal-red blooms which have a deep blood-red margin and a glowing red interior. The flowers are held on strong stems and hold well in wind and rain.

This is a Division 3 triumph tulip, characterised by single, cup-shaped blooms that appear in mid to late spring. A hybrid division, with the widest range of colours but tend to be short lived.

The Oscar tulip flowers in April/May and will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer fertile, well drained soil in a sunny area.
