Tulip 'Black Parrot' bulbs yield a tall, eye-catching display of deep purple petals, with occasional hues of black/maroon under certain lighting conditions. Each petal is distinguished by a textured, ruffled fringe.

'Black Parrot' will grow well in most conditions, but for best results should be planted in moist, well drained soil in a sunny area of the garden.

This flower is a group 10 parrot tulip, these are characterised by the frilled, fringed, often curled petals.
