The RHS Lily Nest Box is ideal for various bird species including Wrens, Robins, Pied Wagtails, and Spotted Flycatchers. It is recommended to place the nest box facing either north or east, away from strong winds and direct sunlight. For Wrens and Robins, securely position the nest box below 2m and conceal it among foliage and ivy. Spotted Flycatchers require the nest box to be 2.4m high and well-concealed, but with an unobstructed view. It is recommended to clean the nest box once a year between September and January, while it is unoccupied, using boiling water only.
