The RHS Buzzing Thor Insect Hotel and Flower Planter serves as a refuge for insects seeking a place to spend the winter and reproduce. To best accommodate a variety of insects, position the hotel in an area that offers a mix of sun and shade. Create drainage by lining the planter with a used compost bag with several small holes, and then fill it with peat-free compost. Finally, plant pollinator-friendly flowers in the planter to attract beneficial insects.
