The Muscari neglectum also known as the Common Grape Hyacinth or starch grape hyacinth is a breathtaking plant with bunches of deep blue, almost black ball-shaped flowers with beautiful white tips. This spring-blooming plant stays relatively small, reaching 20cm when fully grown. The Common Grape Hyacinth does best when planted later in the year from September to November.
The Muscari neglectum is easy to grow with little maintenance and does best when planted in moist, but well-drained soil in partial to full sun. These beautiful little plants are non-toxic so are safe for any garden, they are also beloved by bees for their nectar-rich flowers.
