Bog Bean (Menyanthes trifoliata)
A rambling plant with trifoliate olive-green foliage that creeps over the surface of the water. The attractive white flowers are tipped with pink. An infusion of the roots used to be used as a tonic for fevers, gout and other complaints
This plant creaps from where it is first planted. In summer growing shoots can be cut off to encourage branching and pushed into soil to propagate.
Plant in full sun to partial shade between 1cm and 20cm deep.
