Leucojum aestivum 'Bridesmaid' bulbs produce an attractive plant, featuring glossy foliage and stems that support many clusters of white, bell-shaped flowers; these blooms often contain a green marking near the base of the petals.

Leucojum aestivum 'Bridesmaid' is often referred to as 'Summer Snowflake.' This bulb, in the same family as snowdrops, is larger in size. It prefers soil with high levels of humus, and needs to be kept moist, with good drainage, in partial shade.

Leucojum aestivum 'Bridesmaid' is an excellent choice for naturalising and will form sizable clumps with ease, and is noted to be tolerant of both floods and still bodies of water, making it ideal for planting near aquatic habitats.
