The Jeffersonia diphylla bulbs produce a visually striking plant. Its foliage is divided into two lobes and grows on every stem. The short, robust stems have a reddish tinge and support the gorgeous shallow bowl-shaped flowers. These flowers are a stunning pure white colour, complemented by the subtle yellow stamens in the centre.

Jeffersonia diphylla thrives in a woodland environment, preferring moist, well-draining soil and partial shade. This plant is easy to care for and can withstand various conditions due to its hardiness. While its flowers have a short lifespan, they quickly shed their petals.
