Hippeastrum 'Cherry Blossom' bulbs are known to generate a stunning plant with 4-budded blooms. Initially a delicate rose pink color, the florets will further develop into a pale-white to pink ombre as the plant matures.
Hippeastrum 'Cherry Blossom' is best grown in a rich, moist potting mix with ample sun exposure and some wind protection. This variety will usually produce multiple, long-lasting blooms referred to as Amaryllis. Plant bulbs with the top half of the bulb exposed above the soil line for best results.
Fertilize the plant with a liquid fertilizer, except when it is in bloom. Once it has finished flowering, feed it every ten days. Prune the leaves in October or November and allow the plant to be dormant until it starts to grow again.
