The Fritillaria persica 'Blues Brothers' is a beautiful variety of persica with dark purple nodding flowers reaching out from a central stem. The Blues Brothers gets quite tall, reaching an impressive 100cm when fully grown when the plant blooms in Spring. The fritillary, like many others, does best when planted late in the year from September - November.

The Fritillaria persica 'Blues Brothers' is quite easy to grow and does well in borders and raised beds. The bulbs should be planted in full sun to partial shade around 20cm deep.
