Crocus 'Vanguard' bulbs generate a breathtaking bloom, each sturdy stem featuring a spectacular flower. The outer petals possess a pale cream hue, while the internal petals display a muted grey-lilac exterior and a paler lilac interior. These delicate shades are complemented with the luminous yellow anthers at the core of the bloom.

Vanguard is an early-blooming type of crocus. These flowers thrive when planted in a sunny, moist soil. Additionally, crocuses are a great choice of flower for drawing in helpful pollinators, as the flowers produce a substantial amount of nectar.
