Loved by many, Convallaria majalis, known as lily-of-the-valley, thrives as a superb groundcover in damp, humus-enriched sections of the garden. It rapidly expands to create a delightful blanket of sweet-smelling, white, bell-shaped blossoms accompanied by lengthy, deep green foliage.

The Convallaria majalis is an easy to grow, low maintenance flower and thrives well in shaded areas with damp and free draining soil.

This plant has been awarded the RHS Garden Merit Award.
