Arum italicum bulbs create a show-stopping plant known for its highly decorative leaves. The distinctive leaves boast a combination of dark and light greens, often veined with white for an eye-catching effect. The white hooded blooms complemented by a pale yellow spadix, give way to vibrant red berries, though these should not be eaten due to their toxicity.

This Arum favors a moisture-retentive soil that is well-draining. It has good winter hardiness, but may be damaged by prolonged frost, so it should be protected from extreme cold.
