A small, slow-growing, upright tree, with fan-like foliage that opens a beautiful pale orange in the spring, turning lime green in summer and finally orange-red in autumn before the leaves fall. Tiny, purple-red flowers in spring are followed by conspicuous, red-winged fruit held above the foliage in late summer
