
Description
The Tulip 'Shirley Double' bulbs produce stunning semi-double, loose ivory-white coloured blooms with a violet-purple border, held on sturdy stems above wide, lance-shaped foliage. The purple border increases in size and intensity with age.
The Shirley Double flower is a Division 11 tulip, characterised by double or semi-double flowers that bloom in late spring.
The Shirley Double Tulip flowers in May and will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer fertile, well drained soil in a sunny location.
