The Tulip 'Red Princess' bulbs produce double blooms in a striking dark red hue, with outer petals that feature subtle mauve-tinged flame markings.

Group 11 tulips are easily distinguished by their doubled petals and longer flowering season compared to other tulip varieties. The 'Red Princess' is an example of this group.

The Red Princess Tulip flowers in May and will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer fertile, well drained soil in a sunny location.
