The 'Pieter de Leur' Tulip bulbs produces vibrant scarlet blooms with pointed reflexed petals. These tulips are generally long stemmed and they are weather resistant which makes them a good choice for bedding.

This is a Division 6 lily-flowering tulip, characterised by a single, lily-like flower which bloom in mid to late spring. Petals arch outwards and have a pointed apex.

The Pieter de Leur Tulip flowers in May and will grow well in a wide variety of conditions, but will prefer fertile, well drained soil in a sunny location.
